deal to bring the best Martial Arts Instruction to the City of
Winfield. Our Instructors have gone to countless seminars,
and tournaments to bring an international standard of
training to Winfield.
Our students compete on an international level and we plan
on continuing this form of education with the involvement of
point style fighting, mixed martial arts fighting and Olympic
style fighting.
Our forms competition is exceptional with our first Grand
Champion medal leading the way. WT will strive not just
compete but to excel in tournament competition.
We want you and your children to gain the most out of what
we have to offer. Our Women's self defense is the most
intense training regiment out there. We are adding to it daily
teaching the most advance moves and strategy that we
find.
Being Jung Moo Kwan is not just a style but a way of life as
we study the Samurai and the Hwarang, and their code of
ethics to bring a guideline on how to live as a warrior in this
modern age.
Although the teachings are dated and have been passed
down over hundreds of generations they still are a basic
foundation for blackbelt behavior. These teachings are
universal in that they can be found in almost every culture
today.
Our hopes is that we educate blackbelts on two different
fronts. One is the physical aspect where we teach them
how to kick and punch in order to defend themselves
properly. The other is on the mental aspect where we
educate them on the meaning and history of the martial arts.
Therefore our testings include a physical portion and a
written portion. Each portion is worth fifty percent and both
are an equal importance to our blackbelt's education.
