Although the styles that White Tiger teaches are different in their own unique ways, there are certain
aspects of mental discipline that are the same.  No matter what style you are interested, there are rules
and there are certain things that ring true in each style.  Here are a few of these aspects:
Rules of the Class:
1.  Keep Dobok clean and on a hanger when brought to and from class.
2.  Bow before talking to a higher belt rank, and use terms of respect when speaking to those of a
higher rank or age.
3.  Bow when entering and leaving the dojang.  When entering bow to the flags before you enter.  When
leaving, while standing at the doorway, place your right hand into your left in front of you and then bow,
then you can turn and leave.
4. Use no profanity within the dojang or changing area.  Words such as no, can't, don't, won't, shouldn't,
couldn't and any other phrase of negative connotation will not be allowed in the dojang.
5.  Absolutely no horseplay will be tolerated in the dojang.  No running, hitting or wild mannerisms are
allowed before or after class.
6.  Do not speak in class unless given permission or by raising your hand.
7.  Fighting outside of class will not be tolerated and will result in suspension from class for one year.
8.  No free sparring without blackbelt permission and supervision.
9.  Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew anything within the dojang.
10.  Always strive to show more spirit than the person next to you.
11.  Give 100% of your attention to your sabumnim (instructor).
12.  Do not adjust your dobok while facing higher ranking persons or the flags.
13. All rules of the class are mandated by the Master Instructor and will not be overruled by any other
figure due to the safety and concerns of all parties involved.
14.  You will be asked to leave by the instructor if you cna not obey the rules of the class.  Continuation
of your participation in later classes will be evaluated by the Master and Senior Instructors only.
15.  All students are required to obey all rules and regulation set forth by the USNTF, White Tiger and
the WTF.

White Tiger Jung Moo Kwan Taekwondo
Taekwondo is the art of hand and foot fighting.  This Korean art not only has the physical characteristics
that mirror the Korean culture, but the mental aspects clearly define it as a Korean art that illustrates the
Korean ethical aspects of its culture.   Taekwondo was formed during the Silla Dynasty, but the history of
Taekwondo goes much deeper than this.  Yes, the earliest reference to Taekwondo is Subak and
Taekkyon but the history of Taekwondo expands from these early reference to modern day.  Somehow
the "art of kicking and punching" really does not describe the amount of hard work that the Koreans have
achieved to make this particular style of martial arts their own.

White Tiger appreciates this work and strives to be as traditional as possible to the guidelines offered
by the USNTF, yet still trying to incorporate some of the philosophy that makes White Tiger unique.
White Tiger Taekwondo meets two times a week.  Click on the schedule button for specific dates and
times.  Within the class we teach different kicking techniques as well as punching and blocking.  We
teach Classical, and TaeGuek Poomse, and Olympic style sparring techniques as well as a modified
style basically between a modified mokan and Olympic style.

We study the teachings of the Hwarang and try to adapt their philosophy generated many years ago to
the modern era of living.  The study of these ethics goes deeper than just memorizing, it is expected to
be used in society by exemplifying discipline and ideal manners.
